A spontaneous site redesign is in the works! It’s come to my attention that this site is unorganized, unnavigable and losing its relevance—if it ever had any. 😆
We really need a makeover.

I’ve decided to tackle those issues posthaste. But, please be patient, as my skill set will be very challenged during this restructuring.
In the meantime, scroll away for previous meme drops, updates on the wee homestead, amateur poetry and varied shares. Or, check out the so-far few Herbal Explorations pages, or the Geoengineering Resources, or the Farm-to-Table Resources, which will be updated as well.
And, feel free to share any suggestions and opinions: what would you like to see more of on this blog? What kind of blogs do you think we need more of in the cyber world? Are there any blogs you particularly like that you think I could learn from as far as content/design/features?
Please, share to your heart’s content! I hope you’ll miss us while we’re gone! 🤗

I think a few simple recipes or recipe like posts. Besides canning do you have special ways of using up extra produce? I know you can freeze or dry but what would you do with a dried tomato for example? They seem to last forever when dried. I’ve diced mine & added them to burgers, soup or chili for extra flavor & bulk. Anything unusual that you add to yours? I wonder if you could grind them up to a fine powder & add it to a veggie smoothie? Maybe a question page & answer part.

There can never be enough animal & gardening posts for me. Really like the farming & gardening and posts. Like the links also but not the full page quotes from other web sites although I do like the small inserts of quotes from other people & who to attribute them to. Good luck with your changed site but I hope not too different.

Thanks Granny! Not too different, but you let me know when the time comes.

it ain’t broke so why fix it? that is my 2 cents…i like it the way it is…BECAUSE it is simple and i like simple! too many boxes to look at and i generally only look at the first one! i see your page daily and the new stop at the top old at the bottom…and it works perfect.

Did CONgress appropriate funds to purchase what is essentially a Ukranian flag?
No surprise that it went for million$.

Makes me wonder how long art has been used in money laundering schemes. Once upon a time at least they made the art worth stealing.

Yes, PLEASE do not stop Funny Friday.
Geoengineering posts are always welcome, as I need validation for a tin-foil hat and tongue in cheek, so those “conspiracy theories” (cough cough….literally) are important.
I enjoy it all, and though I don’t comment often, I do (usually) follow the links to other articles/info, etc. And I truly enjoy/am jealous of the homestead/food/garden/animal posts.
I don’t find your site hard to navigate at all….newest post is on top, scroll down to view previous posts.
Hope you’re not gone long, I’m a little verklempt now. Miss you kids already.
Wishing you the best, and good luck!!
Well, this is a first: “Log in to leave a reply.” Can’t do it.
Wait a tick…email icon. There we go.

Great! Really appreciate the feedback and kind observations. That ‘login’ thing just started happening a few months ago I think. A few have complained and were wondering if it is meant to discourage commenting. But, maybe I clicked something inadvertently; I will try to fix it. I want to encourage exchange, not discourage it!
I’m especially glad to hear about your interest in the geoengineering info and links. This is so important to me and a huge reason why I blog at all—my basic reasoning being—come for the happy snaps, but stay for the meat and potatoes. So my further plan is more meat and potatoes! 😆

I love spiders, too. I hadn’t seen an Orb Weaver on the house in three years. I finally got one to visit.
Last year, I got lucky with two McKinley spiders.

Never heard those called ‘McKinley spiders’ before, wonder where that name comes from. They are so cool!

Heh. Just took a peak. Black cat with black dog. Gold/Ginger cat with blonde dog. I love it. Like attracts like.
Love the little black tuxedo kitty’s white mustache!
